Hello! My name is Bailey Mullen, and I am currently a senior English and Theatre Major at McDaniel College, in Westminster, Maryland. My main interest includes the scholarly research I have done alongside my professors at McDaniel College. In the summer of 2022, I completed research for the William Shakespeare portion of a professor’s novel on “Peace and Pacifism.” I then went on to complete my senior capstone paper, which focused on the aesthetic death of the Victorian female, where I studied author Dante Gabriel Rossetti closely. My theatre capstone project was on the play Radium Girls, where I completed a 30 page research packet informing the actors of the historical portion of the play and finished with a poster display for the theatre’s lobby. As for personal activities, I run Cross Country and Indoor and Outdoor Track in college. As for my next steps, I plan to continue my love for research by looking into various positions such as becoming a legal assistant or even an editor.
